Cort could hear the screaming but had no idea why. He jumped when Stell pulled on his arm but started to run, not causing a fuss with her orders. He was worried about where his siblings ran off too still not knowing that Caecilia was right beside him. Chadrick was still running, lungs feeling like they were set on fire. The monsters stench helped him know how close it was to him, since he didn't bother to look back and see the hideous thing again. If he had, he would know that after seeing so many people run in different ways, the monster had stopped moving. Chadrick beamed when he figured out a way to ditch the monster and give his body a break from all the exercise, that is until he felt an sharp immense pain on his leg. Falling down he grabbed his leg, after a few harsh rolls on the ground and let out a huge, "WHAT THE FUCK!" when he saw blood. The yell caught the monster attention and slowly it made it's way towards the injured Chadrick. Cort continued to run, and stopped when he had bumped into something. A tree, he thought at first, but it didn't feel or smell like the trees that were in this odd place. Feeling around his eyebrow arched when he was touching a...strap jacket? The air smelt strongly of gun powder and he backed up when he realised that he had ran into a human. "I-I'm sorry" he apologized cheeks turning red.

Morgan heard a yell of profanity. Chadrick. He couldn't let anything happen to one of his only friends. Morgan wasn't sure what he was going to do would work, but as long as the flying whale in the sky was his witness, he'd do whatever he could to make sure Chadrick and all his other siblings lived through this. As he raced toward his death, Morgan played a number of heroic anthems in his head. This wasn't exactly how her planned on dying, but it was good enough for him. He jumped on top of the monster's back and shouted. "For glory!" To his surprise, his plan was working. He could feel himself melting the monster's skin. Morgan, you see, wasn't really a 'true' human. Formed as a tumor on his mother's thy,Morgan began life as a flesh eating parasite. With each person her devoured, the more he started to grow, taking a little bit of the person. Though, the only people he could eat were those of the same blood type. When he does find someone like that, Morgan had a habit of getting all hot and bothered, and melt onto the person. In a matter of seconds, the monster was gone; sucked into Morgan's sweaty palms. With a shiver he, he smiled and patted his stomach. "Well I'm full now." He looked around to see where all the others had scattered to."Where's Cort?"

Stell stared at the human for a few moments then looked around for Morgan, but could not see him, so she stared at the human for a few seconds then started to back away shyly. However, after she had backed away about two feet, Stell fell over a rock and landed on her behind. "Ow!" she mumbled. Then, her eyes caught sight of a very brightly colored, large bug on her leg. Stell screamed and just stared at it. "I-I-I think it's poisonous! Ohhh, get it off!" she cried. Bolting up, Stell danced around until the bug finally flew off. She shuddered and clung to the unfamiliar human until she realized what she was doing. "Oh! I'm so sorry, really... I.. I don't do too good around bugs..." She looked at the ground, embarrassed and shuffled back over to Cort and took his hand again. "I... think we should find the others before ... something else or... someone else finds them... um... bye..." Stell said, not even bothering to introduce herself.

Trev leaned down,his knees making a small popping noise and a small wave of clicks from inside his jacket sounding out.He looked Cort over and smiled so wide it seemed almost inhuman."Look John!! Its just a little boy!" He glanced up and saw John frowning at Stell."AND A CHICK WITH BIG KNOCKA'S!"
John rolled his eyes at Trev and looked at Stell with a lip curl of disgust as she started to back away.He looked from Stell to Cort and back at where the monster was and saw it was gone. "aw damn did it get away?"
Trev glanced around and spotted Chadrick on the ground."looks like you missed the price~" he elbowed John and giggled manically then put a arm around Cort and laughed harder like it was the best joke ever. Really Trev didn't have a funny thing in him except when he was drunk off his ass and trying to do it with a water hose.And as sad as it sounds it makes for a wonderful home video.
John mad a face of distaste and started heading for wounded boy and ...that person that was patting their stomach. It kinda looked like a girl so he smiled and walked a little faster toward them.
Trev finally stopped laughing and smiled at Cort."So little britches whats your name?"

Cort's blush grew as Trev put his arm around him. He wasn't much for stranger contact and felt uncomfortable that they were around him. Even so he still answered his question, "M-my name's Cort." He shot out his hand, "Pleased to meet you." He tried his best to be polite but was acting like he was meeting someone of great importance.
Chadrick was in awe as he watched Morgan eat away at the monster, somewhat disgusted when he literally melted on to the beast. When the monster was gone, Chadrick didn't know what to say for a while, until finally he yelled out a, "That was so COOL!" and stuck his hands up in the air. "I didn't know you could do that Morgan!" Getting up he forgot about his leg and fell right back down, cussing through his teeth. He rolled his pant leg up and almost gaged at all the blood that had dripped down. "Just fucking great." He lay down on the licorice grass and said to himself, "Is this the end..for Chadrick Ansgar," making this into a big deal, "To die in this weird place?" Suddenly a kick from his head made him get back up, "OW MAN!" he yelped as he held his now throbbing head. Caecilia crossed her arms and shook her head. Sitting on her legs she took a look at his wound, sighing and shooting a glare at her brother. "WHAT? it's not my fault!" Caecilia simply rolled her eyes. Eyebrow arching Chadrick asked, "You're quiet sis, what's up?" Caecilia didn't know how to answer him. She looked around for maybe dirt to write it down, but licorice was an awfully hard thing to write with. Using her finger she wrote a message down in the dirt and pointed at it for Chadrick to look at. "Can't use your powers ehhh?" Chadrick grinned. Caecilia shot him a look saying, 'Don't get any ideas,' with the daggers in her eyes. Turning over to Morgan Caecilia pointed to the forest, only to notice that a man was coming towards them. He looked human enough but he was approaching so fast that she started to get worried.

Morgan stared blankly at Chadrick, shocked by his reaction. Usually people were immediately turned off by his parasitic power and ran away from him, other than his mother Holly and Uncle Diotri. He couldn't help but smile to himself. "D-do you really think it's cool? Well it's how I ea-!!" He ran over to Chadrick's side as soon as he fell. Tears welt up in his eyes as he fell to his knees on Chaddy's side. "Chaddy! You're not really going to die are you? I'll carry you! Everything is going to be all right. We'll get you a nice bed and...Oh hi Caecilia." He was glad to see she was safe. The thoughts of his injured friend suddenly fled his mind. He looked off into the direction of where she was pointing and murmured something inaudible. "Oh crap! Cort!" He shot off for the wood. The probability of another monster being in there was pretty high. "Cort? Corty-kins? This isn't funny where are you?" He stumbled further, tripping over the trees' feet. He fell against something warm and soft against his cheek. At first, he rubbed his hand against it, feeling the texture. Cloth perhaps? Lifting his head up, he saw that he was staring up into the butt of John on the back of something or someone ghostly white and tall. "Urk!" He stepped back and laughed nervously. "Ahaha. Sorry...Sir? I'm looking for a blind blond child, about yay high and...uhm..." He walked around the giant, since talking into the ass of someone wasn't the greatest way to communicate. To his surprise, Cort was safe and sound in the arms of the white giant. "Cort!" Morgan wrapped his arms around him and Trev. "Thank you for finding him!" Morgan looked up into the face of the strangers that had rescued his friend. The sight of Trev made him wince. Holding his tongue between his teeth, he tried to hold his questions back and force a smile. He couldn't keep his eyes off Trev's missing eye and heart.

Trev stared at the hand then finally grabbed it and shook it hard. "Good grip you go there Cort! My names Trev Wilder~"He looked him over a little and tried to look for eyes that would look up to him. Seeing nothing from behind his hair he bent down and pushed it out of the way.The was a sharp gasp but it was replaced with a small chuckle and a pat on the head. He knew he was blind and didn't need to say anything about it. He stood up and looked at his brother who had already ran into someone.
John glared down at Morgan who just so happened to pretty much rape his but. Before he could yell at him thought the kid was already off and looking for the kid Trev had."How rude.."he mumbled and walked on toward the young blonde kids.
Trev mean while was smiling at Morgan."Hi~" he said with a little ring to his voice."My names Trev and this is Cort and you already know him but whats your na-" he noticed he was looking at him weird and a little laugh escaped from his cold dead lips."Whats the matter kiddo," he leaned down to be face to face with his new little friend."never met a zombie before?"
John,finally making his way to the two blonde kids,saw the boy with the bloody leg. He frowned and got closer to the boy looking at his leg."Now that's not right..."he ignored the kids crusing from pain and flipped out a small pocket knife."come here boy lets get that blasted bullet out of yah."He gave a wink to Caecilia and got to work digging out the bullet.

Stell looked down at her chest, blushing lightly. "They're not that big..." She looked at Morgan upon hearing his voice. "MORGAN! You didn't get eaten, thank goodness! Where's the monster? Is it dead? And the others? Are they alright? I hope they didn't get hurt!" Stell had slipped into her mommy mode that she was so used to around her children. She looked at Cort, then looked to Trev and John, wondering aloud, "Who are they...?" She did not recognize John, otherwise she probably would have tried to kick his butt. She looked in the direction Morgan had come from and asked, "Are the others over there/ i heard someone yelling."

Cort continued blushing at the compliments that Trev gave him, feeling super cool that a guy would say that he had a good grip. Hearing Morgan's voice Cort turned in the direction that it was coming from and beamed, "MORGAN!" Cort hugged him tightly, almost clinging on to him. It was nice to hear someone familiar, and even though he liked this Trev person, he felt comfortable around someone he trusted. When Trev said he was a zombie Cort gasped, "Zombie? You're a zombie Trev?"
Chadrick almost screamed when John starting digging into his leg with the pocket knife, cussing and fussing all the while. Caecilia hated that she couldn't talk, or she'd tell Chadrick to stop his bitchy babyness, since it would be faster for John to get the bullet out and his leg wouldn't get infected. Chadrick inhaled sharpley when he saw John taking out the bullet, and he closed his eyes tight. Suddenly he realized something, creating a glare upon his face, "WHERE YOU THE ONE THAT SHOT ME?!" he yelled, backing away from him. "YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!"

Trev shot a smile at Stell and introduced himself once again. "My name is Trev Wilder...that man over there is my alive brother John Myers!" he gave a little pitch to John's last name like he was about to burst back out into song followed by coordinated dance moves.He glanced back over to Cort."Well yes? Couldn't you tell by the terribly dead cold hands?"
"Now a bullet to the leg ain't gonna' kill you!" John frowned at Chadrick."Plus I could of sworn I hit the damn thing." He stood up quickly and tried to wipe off the nasty candy grass.He smiled politely at Caecilia. "Sorry about all that,love. I didn't mean to.I guess my amazing aim is off.."He pocket the bullet from Chadrick's leg and looked down at him with a frown."Are 'yah done yet."

He hugged Cort back, as tightly as he could. "Don't run off on me, kiddo." He loosened his grip and went back to being in awe at the sight of Trev.Morgan, though happy they found more people, he wanted to get this show on the road. "Um. No offense but we have to go and- ACK! What are you doing to Chaddy?" He yelped in a horrified voice as he watched John pulled out the bullet. He squeezed Chadrick's hand tightly and watched John carefully as he pulled out the bullet. "Don't yell, Chaddy. At least he is helping. And he DID apologize....though his 'amazing' aim is completely off and needs work." He muttered the last part to himself silently. "Stell~" He beamed a small grin and started to explain what happened. "The monster? oh, I ate it," he stated as if it was the most casual thing ever. "I think the others are around here....well actually. The gang is all here! We can go as soon as Chaddy's leg gets wrapped up." He looked up at Trev and bit his lip. "Hey, Mister Wilder? Do you want to come with us? We're off to see the wiz- I mean the person who runs this place. You can bring your partner too." Last night's movie, The Wizard of Oz, was beginning to come back to him.

Chadrick winced when the bullet had been pulled out, but was glad it was out of his leg none the less. He blushed when Morgan held his hand and looked to the other side. It calmed him that Morgan was beside him, and he didn't fuss the rest of the time. Cort followed Morgan to where Chadrick was and touched his brothers shoulder. "Where did you get shot bro?" Chadrick pouted, "My leg." Cort smiled, "Maybe that will teach you to not run off on your own?" Chadrick didn't reply to this, and instead glared at his sister who was chuckling at him. "Oh shut up Caecilia! I'd like to see what you would do if you got shot." Cort gasped, "Caecilia? where is she?" "She's lost her powers Cort, so she can't talk even in her mind." Chadrick replied. As upsetting as that was to him, Cort was just glad to know that his sister didn't disappear somewhere in the forsaken place. Tapping him on the head to try and tell Cort that she was right beside him, Caecilia held his hand. "I think it's a good thing," Chadrick stated as he tried to get up, "Caecilia's voice always knew how to piss me off" Caecilia smiled at John as a thanks, unable to say it at the moment. Chadrick on the other hand, said no thankyou's or anything towards John and instead yelled, "Can we get going?!" He wanted to get out of this place, and fast. He didn't want to deal with anymore slime monsters. Cort beamed at Morgan's offer, "Please come! The more the merrier!"

Trev glanced around all happy and giddy like. He loved making new friends and to be invited already into this group of stranges made him feel actually accepted for this frist time. "OHHH MYY"He looked over at John slightly bouncing "Can we go can we can we can we?!"
John glanced and him and frowned."Do shut up Trev.."he glanced at all the faces. Stell,Morgan,Cort,Chadrick and Caecilla. Mostly Caecilla...a smile spread across his face "Well i guess we could come along.."he shot a small glare at Morgan."As long as we all agree that that shot was faulty and Im still and amazing shot..."
Trev hopped on one foot."YES YES WE DO CAN WE GO PLEASE PLEASE?!?"he slid on the ground and grabs John's leg."pwweeezzzzeee?"
John looked like he would throw up. He glared at trev then struck his foot against his foot."Damn well go...But where exacatly are we going?" He started walking hopeing that walking and talking would make the time go by faster. Trev followed behind grabs Cort with a big grin."This is gonna be great!"

Stell waved shyly at Trev and John, then. stared at Morgan in complete confusion "You um, ate.... the monster? How... how does that work out?" Then she looked to Chadrick, in shock. "What?! Lost her powers?! Does that mean everybody has lost their powers?! I'm already useless enough with mine... they .. they just... make me feel safer" she admitted, staring at the floor sheepishly. Stell hoped the owner of this demented world would be nice. "Think the ruler of this place is a ten year old that can be conned with candy...?" She wondered aloud. "I have some in my pocket. Stell pulled a lollipop out of her pocket. Her eyes wandered over to john. He looked so familiar.
